if the service were less flaky, it would have scored in the 'a' range. which is not like the 'a' team. or the 'a' train. or whatever. anyway.... i've not been to dinner here since they started dinner service (and i've not been to lunch here in quite a while either, at least since i started keeping track of this kind of thing). they have made their prices at dinner more equitable with the lunch price- the same sandwich used to cost a few dollars more at dinner than at lunch, plus tip for the table service. it doesn't now.

the flights of foods/condiments are a good idea. you can get three kinds of olives, honey, butter, charcuterie, cheeses, and maybe one other thing i am too lazy too look up right now and can't remember with bread. i, of course, had the cheese one. mmmm, cheese. i can't remember them either, other than gorgozola. (cold meds!) and a bowl of soup, white bean and chicken (see, not my usual rachel sandwich, for those of you who get annoyed when i tend to order the same thing over and over at a place). and they had a really generous bread basket. all was tasty good.

there wasn't a lot of sharing (we all had colds), but i did sample the pots de creme dessert (i'm also too lazy to look for that accent in creme and too knackered to remember it). it was too rich and chocolately for me after the cheese. it would have been a good summer dessert after a salad or cold sandwich or something, maybe.
