one of the more boring stories- i was at some fundraising thing with my parents (i was a kid at the time) that i think was taking place at general mills for some reason unbeknownst to me. and no, we did not get free cereal when there.

it was one where they bring in someone 'famous' to rally the troops. this time it was rudy boschwitz, who was in office at the time. (he's the senator that paul wellstone replaced.)

he was walking around post-speech doing the pressing the flesh thing so my family did the meet and greet. later he ended up sitting in front of us during the bit where we called people for money (well, the adults did, the kids just kind of hung around and ran back and forth between the area where we were supposed to be and where our parents were).

he was not wearing a plaid shirt.

is it an interesting story? no.
